Located on a sizeable property with expansive views, the existing farmhouse was dark and introverted.

A new living, kitchen dining pavilion relocates all the living areas to a more contemporary environment, offering a variety of connections with both the landscape and views beyond.

Large glass doors provide uninterrupted connection to the expansive views, while a walled courtyard creates a sheltered entertaining area, providing an escape from the exposed nature of the site. A raised swimming pool connects to both the courtyard and the landscape and views beyond.

A new glazed entry is slotted between the two buildings, with the existing farmhouse converted to the more intimate uses of library room, study, and bedrooms.
